Yes we ship koi and we guarantee Live Delivery! If the koi dont arrive alive we will replace them or refund you, your choice.

We ONLY ship with Spee-Dee Delivery Area, which is all of Iowa, Illinios, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Metro St. Louis, and Parts of Nebraska (see map for details). As of 2024 we no longer ship with Fed-Ex or UPS

We only ship koi on Wednesday Nights We Ship at 7pm with arrival on Thursday or Friday depending on where you are on the Spee-Dee Route. This way the koi can be fasted prior to shipping. Spee-Dee does not deliver on Saturdays!

Step 1 - Order using the For Sale Page or the Specials Page
Step 2 - We will send a confirmation of your order within 24-48 hours, and notification of shipping date (typically Wednesday of the same week).
Step 3 - The Koi are placed in a 4mil poly bag with just enough water to cover their backs. All the air is removed and replaced with medical grade pure oxygen. This oxygen ensures the koi have enough air to breath. A second bag is placed around the first to provide additional protection. The bagged koi are then placed in a boxed styrafoam cooler. the styrafoam cooler keeps the temperature of the koi stable during shipping, and protects the koi from damage to the outer box.
Step 4 - The koi are taken to the Spee-Dee Hub in Marion Iowa around 6pm Central Time. We only ship on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Spee-Dee does not deliver on Saturdays.
Step 5 - You are sent an e-mail with a tracking number.
Step 6 - The Koi Arrive at your door your door within 24-48 hours after drop off at the shipper. Hurray!
