Spring.Construction of the Lily pond has started. Large excavator is taking top soil. I used the small excavator to build the pond dam.Lily Pond is finished and filling with water.Digging a creek between the ponds to channel flood water during heavy rains.East Pond finished. Full of water and has its first spawn of koi eggs hatching out.West Pond drain and dig deeper and wider.fall.Middle of October heavy rains and floodingVery dry winter with no water. Pond level went down causing the ice to break my overflow pipes and emptied the Lily and East Fenceline Pond. Most of the koi were lost.
